Religious Deity Replica Makers UK
Producing an identical temple deity replica from our 3D scan of the original temple deity!

Religious Temple Deity Reproduction From 3D Scan – UK – Back in 2018, we were delighted to be approached by ‘Shree Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple’ (Kenton, London), who wanted us to produce an identical replica of an important original deity statue located at their Kenton temple. We would achieve this objective by carrying out a high resolution 3D scan of the deity within their Kenton temple. We would then use this exact data to reproduce an identical physical copy of the deity using an advanced SLA 3D printing system, which then enabled us to create a mould master.
Hence, we were delighted to be approached once again by the temple in the autumn of 2021, when we were asked to produce a physical copper plated scale replica from our original 3D scan. The finished statue would then be located and used within the Temple.

Our Specialist Process! – Here follows a brief overview of the process we use for producing this identical highly detailed copper plated reproduction.
- A high resolution 3D scan of the original deity statue at Kenton temple.
- 3D digital mastering in ZBrush of our original high-resolution 3D scan in order to fully prepare the 3D digital model for 3D printing.
- 3D printing of the full size model.
- Internal 3D digital modelling to allow a structural threaded steel armature to be inserted into the main body through the heels of the model.
- Insertion of two threaded 10mm steel rod armatures for strength, rigidity and final mounting.
- Many hours physical surface preparation and final hand finishing.
- Surface primer layering and polishing back to make the surface perfect (copper plating shows every single defect, so this process takes many hours).
- Traditional copper plating process.
- Final copper surface chasing and mirror polishing by hand.
- Available in various plating finishes such as: Gold, Silver, bronze etc
