Headie One Music Video featuring Stormzy & AJ Tracey
A typical example of an event project we handled was the 3D body-scan of British rapper and songwriter ‘Headie One’ for his debut album hit release “Ain’t it different” video. Our high resolution 3D body scan was used to create a 3D digital asset of the star, that was incorporated into his debut albums music video, where a 300 feet tall statue was super imposed into live action using cgi used in
However, our high resolution 3D scan of Headie was also used to produce a full size statue of the star using CNC milling (another service we can offer). This statue prop was then also used for press and PR promotion purposes in London, for the launch of his debut album Edna.
Headie’s ‘Edna’ album scored two back-to-back ‘Top 5’ hits on the UK Singles Chart with the album’s first two singles, ‘Only You Freestyle’ featuring Drake and ‘Ain’t It Different’ featuring Stormzy and AJ Tracey.

Peabody Statue – 3D Scan Capture – Royal Exchange London
Another recent project that we were delighted to be retained on was for the world famous ‘Peabody Trust’. The Trust was founded in 1862 by London-based American banker George Peabody, who in the 1850s had developed a great affection for London, and determined to make a charitable gift to benefit it.
The Trust wanted us to 3D digitally capture a fabulous historic monument of their founder ‘George Peabody’, located in the Royal Exchange, central London. The intension was to then produce a series of high-quality miniatures from a high resolution 3D print, in order to create a mould master that could be used to produce a limited edition run in bronze. The below images show us setting up the 3D scan at the monument, and then our completed 3D digital scan from different angles. Its always a real privilege to work with major global clients, but especially with a Trust that has such a long history of helping others.
Kingsman – The Golden Circle ‘Arm-Agedon’ – Prop Arm
Another memorable and highly challenging prop build was the robot arm produced for ‘Kingsman 2 TGC’. This project was overseen by our highly talented ‘Senior 3D Digital Modeller’ and ‘3D Print Specialist’ Mark, who produced a fully working 3D model from the Art Directors 2D concept drawings and designs. We have chosen to show this particular prop as it shows the level of detail and complexity we are used to dealing with. Hence, no matter how ambitious your particular show or event ideas may be, you can be confident you have a creative team behind you that can deliver.
Using 3D scanning, 3D printing and CNC milling to produce identical props at any scale!
In addition to using traditional prop-making techniques, we also use the very latest 3D digital technologies to capture and reproduce virtually any three dimensional object (3D scanning, 3D printing, CNC milling). Below is an example of this process where we 3D scanned an actual live Soldier in full combat uniform, to then CNC mill a 1:1 scale physical replica that was used to produce a public commissioned monument by the internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor Michael Rakowitz. This important ‘Turner Contemporary’ monument is now fully installed and located on Margate sea front for all to enjoy.
